I was on my way to Louisville, Kentucky, with my old blue suitcase and my smoke colored mutt we call Venchinzo. I was rolling, mind you, on a set of Firestone Firehawk PV41 high performance tires, with that I never even began to imagine that there could be a problem with my wheels. I could see anything else going wrong; my engine blowing, my alternator going out, my radiator overheating, anything else but my tires failing me. I mean, these tires are made for law enforcement use…hardcore tires built to last. Our entire police department is equipped with Firestone Firehawks. Firestone tires are made to be driven rough and made to be abused.

So you can imagine my dismay when I had a blowout with one of my back tires. I was going eighty-five miles per hour when I heard a loud bang sound and felt my whole car begin to quake and turn to the right. This was unbelievable! How could this be happening?! Firestone why? I continued turning right until I was tossed into a full spin. Spiraling down the highway I could not help but wondering how my Firestone’s had failed me? I did not think about the fact that this could be the last thing I would ever be alive to think about, all that was on my mind was my Firestone Firehawk PV41’s.

After a whirlwind of about half a mile my car began to slow down still going forward, but facing backwards now. By the grace of God when it did finally stop I was on the shoulder of the highway.

I immediately reached for my phone and scrolled to the maps and searched for the closest Firestone Complete Auto Care. In a matter of seconds up pops Firestone Nashville. Could this be true? Nashville was the closest Firestone? What was I even thinking? What could Firestone Nashville do for me on the side of the road?

I decided to call AAA instead. Once they were on their way I got back on my phone and searched once again for Firestone Nashville. When I got them on the phone I told them my dilemma.

“Four flat tires,” I answered them, when they asked how much damage was done. “One blowout and three flats resulting from the spin out. I did not purchase my tires from Firestone Nashville though.”

They told me it was okay; that Firestone Nashville honors a warranty from any Firestone. They said all that I needed to do was get my car there on the tow truck and they would get it back on the road.

“But will you have the Firestone Firehawk PV41’s?” I asked them. “I know that this is Firestone Nashville and you all may not carry the same things.”

They explained that they were sending one of their employees out to pick the

Firestone Firehawks up personally from another Firestone near Firestone Nashville so that I could be back on the road as fast as possible. They expressed their sincerest apologies about my near death experience telling me that every great moon there could be a defective tire.

I appreciated the way they took care of me. They did everything that they said they would do, even throwing in a free alignment because of the spin out. I can honestly say I have never been treated as wonderful at an auto service station as I was at Firestone Nashville. They were a wonderful establishment, and they had me back on my journey in no time, with no hassle, and no money. I would recommend Firestone Nashvile to anyone and I am definitely sold on their service.
